LUCY WAINWRIGHT ROCHE/There's A Last Time For Everything: Available October 15th, 2013!

"Sincere and raw at times recalling Joni Mitchell and Patti Griffin, Roche's
bittersweet voice jumps out; she paints an indelible image."
-NPR Song of the Day

“…her clear, steady voice feels like a beacon of sorts, slicing straight
through the room.”
- New York Times

There are 11 tracks on the album - 10 originals and one surprising cover song - a unique adaptation of Robyn’s dance hit “Call Your Girlfriend.” In addition to the keen observational writing and stellar vocal performances that Roche herself brings to the recording, the album also features an array of musical contributions. They include producer Hamlin playing guitars, horns and hammered dulcimer, Chris Donahue (Emmylou Harris) on bass and jazz drummer Allison Miller (Boom Tic Boom, Brandi Carlile)
on percussion. There’s A Last Time For Everything also features guest vocalist Colin Meloy (The Decemberists), Mary Chapin Carpenter and Robby Hecht and continue Lucy’s tradition of presenting unique collaborations with great singers. These performances, combined with Lucy’s exploration into broader musical territory, make this recording an exciting follow up to her well-received debut album.
